Simon Baker, Filtermist’s Design and Technical Manager will be taking part in the Great North Run on Sunday 9th September to help raise funds for

LegaCare UK – a charity that supports people affected by life threatening illness such as cancer and dementia who desperately need legal help.

The run involves a 13.1 mile journey from Newcastle's city centre to the coast in South Shields and will be broadcast live on the BBC from 9:30. Simon is no stranger to physical challenges, having previously taken part in the Wolf Run with colleagues from Filtermist.

Filtermist staff have been showing their support in abundance this week with the expanding sponsor form which has been circulating our headquarters, and the company has also contributed to his fund-raising efforts.
