Telford based oil mist filters manufacturer Filtermist International Limited is pleased to announce that Sales Engineer William Orr has been appointed to support customers in Scotland.

Filtermist is part of the Absolent Group which also owns dust filters manufacturer Dustcheck Limited. William’s role is a first for the Group in that he will be cross promoting products and services offered by all UK Group companies.

William has a strong engineering background and has previously worked in the dust control industry. Recently, he has worked locally in the diesel engine sector having previously spent 25 years in South Africa where he was a Regional Manager for Cummins.

William will be working with customers on dust control, air filtration, oil mist extraction and fume extraction solutions. It is the first time the Group has had direct representation in Scotland and William is looking forward to using his skills, experience and knowledge of the area to quickly grow the client base.

“We have very ambitious growth plans for the next few years and the opportunity to expand our reach in Scotland will help us to achieve this. Having a local expert will enable us to increase brand coverage for all of the Absolent Group companies and will ensure we are better placed to provide a great service to all of our customers,” said Ian Woodward, Filtermist’s Director of Group UK Sales.

Project Manager David Henderson and three Service Engineers offering routine and reactive maintenance for Dustcheck and Filtermist filters also operate out of Dustcheck’s Glasgow office.
