Cast your vote now before trains leave town

Back in 2018, Filtermist was one of 13 local businesses and organisations that took part in the Bridgnorth Art Trail by sponsoring a statue of a train which was designed to look like the Catch Me Who Can Locomotive which was manufactured in Bridgnorth.

‘Filtermist Steams Ahead’, located at Fox Corner, was designed and decorated by students from Bridgnorth Endowed School to reflect Filtermist’s journey from a local business which started life in Bridgnorth in 1969, to a global leader which now sells its products into more than 60 countries around the world.

The Art Trail will be closing this October and the organiser is holding a ‘People’s Choice’ competition for people to vote for their favourite design before 5th September. Results will be announced at the official trail closing celebration on 17th September and the winning artist will receive a cash prize of £100.

If you haven’t walked the Art Trail yet, why not do it now? It’s an ideal free activity to help keep children entertained this summer holiday. It’s also a great way to walk the town and see some of the local sights.

Trail maps can be collected from Bridgnorth Library and Visitor Information Point, and at shops and businesses around the town. See the full list via this link to the Art Trail website or you can download a map by following this link.

If you would like to vote for your favourite design in the People’s Choice competition, please download this flyer:
