Following the success of last year’s Race to the Stones ultra marathon, this year Filtermist’s Corporate Services Director Jo Morris will be taking part in the Dulux Race to the King challenge on 17th/18th June.
Jo and her partner Jonathan will be taking on the gruelling 100km course to raise more funds for MND (Motor Neurone Disease Association) – a cause close to their hearts and one they have raised funds for since 2021.
The Dulux Race to the King 2023 is set in West Sussex and takes participants on a journey to the coast before looping back to Goodwood Racecourse and out towards Arundel Castle and the heights of the South Downs. Runners (or walkers) can choose from 50km or 100km – as anyone who knows Jo will testify, it was always going to be the 100km option for her!
“We both enjoy a challenge and having something to work towards is a great motivator,” comments Jo. “The fact that we can raise money for this brilliant charity makes it even more worthwhile.”
