UKCA mark for Filtermist oil mist filters

Filtermist has added UKCA marking to the list of quality marks its UK manufactured oil mist filters adhere to. The company began the self-certification process when it was announced that all goods would need to be UKCA marked to be placed on the UK market following the UK’s departure from the European Union.

All Filtermist units conform to the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008, as well as the Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2016 and the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2012.

Standards BS EN 12100:2010, BS EN 60204-1:2018, BS EN ISO 14120:2015, BS EN ISO 13857:2019 were all used in the UKCA marking of Filtermist oil mist filters. More details can be found in the UKCA Declaration of Conformity (DoC) in the Installation and Maintenance Manual for all Filtermist oil mist filters.

“We are very proud of our status as a UK manufacturer that produces goods of the highest quality,” comments Filtermist Limited CEO, James Stansfield. “We’ve been manufacturing our products for more than 50 years and ensuring they meet the standards required by various global markets is vitally important. We began this process pretty soon after the requirement was announced, so even though the UKCA mark is not officially required for goods placed on the UK market until December 2024, we’re ahead of the game and ready.”
