Helping to make the world better with a sweater

Filtermist's UK team donned their festive woollies on Friday to take part in the annual Save The Children Christmas Jumper Day.

Everyone who took part paid £2 for the privilege of wearing their jumper to work, whilst a bake sale of cakes from our resident ‘star baker’ Tricia and Ian’s wife Norma Woodward assisted the fund-raising efforts.

All in all, we collected a fabulous £70 for this deserving cause.

Save the Children has been running its Christmas Jumper Day campaign since 2012 to help fund vital projects all around the world - more details about the charity’s work can be found by following this link.

Photos of thousands of Christmas Jumper wearers from all around the UK can be seen on the Christmas Jumper Day website and more photos of Team Filtermist can be found on our facebook page.

Well done everyone!
