Low-level floor stand latest mounting option from Filtermist

Filtermist has added a low-level stand to its accessories range to ensure customers can choose from the widest range of mounting options possible.

The compact nature of Filtermist oil mist filters enables customers to choose the best mounting option for their specific requirements. Filtermist units can be directly mounted to the machine tool, or positioned using a bespoke stand or bracket manufactured by Filtermist’s in-house fabrication team.

Options include an extendable floor stand with a pre-drilled base plate, as well as machine tool brackets, wall brackets and CSX – Filtermist’s mobile low-level stand with an integral pre-separator.

As well as offering new customers more choice, the low-level stand is designed to offer existing Filtermist customers an alternative which makes it easier for them to comply with HSE Work at Height Regulations 2005.

Director of Sales Stuart Plimmer elaborates, “Work at Height Regulations have gradually become more stringent over the years. Some practices which were previously common place have now been revised to ensure risks to workers are minimised wherever possible.

“Most new Filtermist installations are kept as near to ground level as possible offering a number of benefits to customers – not only does it make it easier to maintain the filter unit, it also means the customer is compliant with Work at Height regs.”

Filtermist is currently offering a 12% discount on low-level stands when purchased as part of a re-install, bringing the cost down from £250 to £220*.

“Filtermist units have a reputation for lasting for many years,” continues Stuart. “This means that we sometimes see examples of installations at heights that we wouldn’t recommend under the current regulations.

“The special offer is designed to make it more attractive for customers to reduce the height of their unit – making future servicing and maintenance easier, as well as ensuring they don’t fall foul of Work at Height Regulations.”

Filtermist’s dedicated engineers offer a nationwide maintenance service for all makes and models of air filtration and extraction equipment, and the company is accredited by SafeContractor for the high standards of health and safety practiced – find out more by following this link.
