In addition to Filtermist’s stand at MACH 2026 last week, Filtermist oil mist filters were also hard at work on several machine tool stands to ensure show visitors weren’t exposed to airborne mist particles.
Filtermist has worked closely with many of the UK’s leading machine tool manufacturers and distributors for many years – supporting them at MACH is testimony to the trust placed in our product’s performance.
The Star GB stand featured two of our brand-new AW Series oil mist filters connected to an operational SX-38 Type B and an SR-32J III Type B. The SX-38 Type B is a versatile, powerful and heavy-duty solution for machining complex mill-turn parts. The integrated performance monitor on the AW5 connected to the SX-38 remained firmly green all week indicating that the unit was doing its job!

Machine mounted centrifugal Filtermist oil mist filters were visible around the show on stands including Citizen, Haas, MA Ford, Matrix Machine Tools, Mazak, MecWash, Mills CNC, whilst Citizen and Sodi-Tech EDM included oil mist and oil smoke filters from our sister company Absolent on their stands.
Filtermist’s OEM and Key Account Manager, Steven Broadhead, said “I am still quite new to my role and seeing so many Filtermist units around the show cemented my decision to join Filtermist.
“Our products are trusted by machine tool manufacturers around the world, and this was evidenced at MACH by the sheer number of units at the show. I am proud to be representing a UK brand which is held in such high regard throughout our industry.”

As the largest manufacturing technologies show in the UK, MACH is a vital fixture in the precision engineering industry’s calendar. The MTA (Manufacturing Technologies Association) which organises the biennial show, expected over 26,000 visitors to attend the five-day show to see more than 500 exhibitors.
“Having our own stand at the show is very important as it enables us to showcase our latest air cleaning solutions to a large audience in one place,” comments UK Sales Manager Salvatore Cannata. “The additional visibility afforded by our products being on so many other stands right across the four halls of the show is invaluable as it acts as a reminder that effective mist extraction is a legal requirement for all employers using CNC machines to machine metal components.
“Where coolant, oil or emulsion are being used there will always be the risk of airborne mist particles. Responsible machine tool suppliers recognise this and ensure mist extraction as an option on all of their quotes.”
