Fourth Great Place to Work™ certification for Filtermist

Filtermist Limited has secured Great Place to Work certification™ for the fourth consecutive year following an annual anonymous employee survey facilitated by Great Place to Work®

Employees are asked a series of questions across five key areas which are designed to establish how the business is run, and how employees feel about the company culture.

Head of HR, Poppy Durnall, comments, “We have a relatively new Management Team and it’s very important to all of us that our workplace culture is a healthy one. Satisfied employees are productive employees, so it makes good business sense to ensure we are doing everything we can to look after our people.

“We are particularly proud of the scores we received around leadership, as well as diversity and inclusivity. It’s really important that all our employees understand what we are working towards, and the roles they play in this as individuals. It’s also vital that they feel able to approach the Management Team with any issues or suggestions on how we can improve.”

The survey includes a section for employees to include any additional feedback that they want to give. “All responses are 100% confidential,” continues Poppy. “The feedback section is really useful as it gives some of our less vocal team members a platform to raise anything they want to outside of our other channels.”

Comments received this year included:

‘What makes this company unique is the strong sense of community and shared purpose. It feels like we’re all on the same ship, working together and steering in the same direction to achieve our business goals, which ultimately benefits each of us as individuals as well as the organisation as a whole.’

‘There are many great aspects of Filtermist. Work life balance is great. HR and Management are easily approachable and open to discussion. My department has a great working relationship, respect and trust.’
