Filtermist employees and their families celebrated Filtermist’s 50th Anniversary last weekend with an action packed Birthday Bash held at Filtermist’s Telford HQ. The sun even shone for the day!

The day was organised as a celebration and also gave the team the opportunity to show their families where they worked.

Guests were entertained first thing with a visit from Telford Exotic Zoo’s ‘Animal Man’ who brought along wild animals such as skunks, a meerkat, a snake, a lizard and a giant cockroach!

There were also lots of other things to keep the kids entertained including a horse and carriage ride, face painting, giant garden games, a bouncy castle, skittle alley and ‘didi-cars’. The grown up’s weren’t forgotten about either as a bar and food were provided and the day also included a factory tour, close-up magician and live band.

The good weather attracted over 230 people on the day and was concluded with Filtermist Service & Installation Engineer Matt Thompson ‘braving the shave’ in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society – with a barber shaving off Matt’s chest length beard live on the event stage. https://www.filtermist.co.uk/news/post/2019/06/28/brave-matt-faces-the-barber-for-charity
