Oil mist filters manufacturer Filtermist proudly supports a range of individuals, charities and organisations who are connected to its employees.

The company’s Export Sales Administrator, Maria Grainger’s children, Jessica and Joshua took part in The Great North Swim on Sunday 9th June and were proudly sponsored by Filtermist.

The Great North Swim which takes place at Windermere in the Lake District has a number of open water swim events including distances of 250 metres, 1/2 a mile, 1 mile, 2 miles, 5k or a 10k.

Jessica swam in the 800 metres event and Joshua in the 250 metres event and as a team with their swimming club, Wellington (Telford) they managed to raise a massive £831.00 in sponsorship for the Georgia Williams Trust.

The Georgia Williams Trust provides support and opportunities for young people in the Telford & Wrekin area who are less fortunate to challenge themselves and have access to new experiences. 

Filtermist was very proud to sponsor Jessica and Joshua in this great achievement, with Jessica saying “It was an amazing experience that we will never forget and an awesome achievement for both of us.”
