Filtermist joins BTMA as Technical Member

Filtermist is pleased to announce that it has joined the British Turned Parts Manufacturers Association (BTMA) as a Technical Member.

Established in the UK in 1969, oil mist filters manufacturer Filtermist works with many of the country’s leading parts manufacturers to ensure the air in their workshops is clean and safe to breathe.

Director of Sales Stuart Plimmer comments, “A significant number of BTMA members already use Filtermist oil mist filters to effectively remove oil and coolant mist, fume and steam from workshop air so it made sense that we should join as a Technical Member.

“Reducing the rates of occupational lung disease is high on HSE’s current agenda and we are looking forward to helping ensure BTMA members benefit from clean workshops with air which is safe to breathe.”

Filtermist and its subsidiary companies, Multi Fan Systems and Dustcheck, provide a wide range of products and services relevant for BTMA members undertaking applications including turning, milling, grinding, EDM spark erosion and parts washing.

Routine and reactive maintenance, CoSHH compliant LEV testing and air monitoring services are all designed to ensure air filtration and extraction equipment is performing as intended and protecting people from exposure to harmful airborne contaminants.
