Export team member boosts CV with new qualification

Filtermist would like to congratulate Export Sales Administrator, Jenny Thorpe, on successfully completing her Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration.

Jenny joined Filtermist in 2011 and currently looks after distributors as far afield as New Zealand and Taiwan. She decided to undertake the course to support the work she does as part of the internal administration team.

Filtermist makes all of its oil mist filters at the company’s Telford HQ and exports 92% of all products made to more than 60 countries worldwide through a network of 48 global distributors. It is essential that the quality of administrative service Filtermist offers is first class and contributes to the continued growth of the company.

Jenny has spent the past year studying for the BIIAB Diploma in her spare time whilst also juggling working at Filtermist with the demands of two young children. “It was hard work, but I found the course really worthwhile,” said Jenny. “It covered a wide range of topics and reinforced many of the processes that we have in place here already. Filtermist is a fast-paced business to work for so keeping up to date with best practice is good for both me personally and for Filtermist.”

Jenny is part of Filtermist’s dedicated Export team headed up by International Distributor Manager, Alison Green. Alison comments, “We are all really proud of Jenny’s achievement. She’s worked really hard to complete her course and she has already passed on some of the things she’s learnt to the rest of the export team. We export goods all over the world so it’s vital our employees are able to provide the level of service our customers demand.

“Well done Jenny, thanks for your dedication and for being such a vital part of our international team!”
