Absolent France SAS, part of Absolent Air Care Group, needed an effective dust collector to be installed as part of a comprehensive dust extraction system alongside one of its own extraction units and a pre-separator cyclone. The whole system needed to be compliant with the ATEX directives due to the metal dusts being controlled.
Filtermist designed and manufactured a heavy duty Dustcheck MIDAC wet dust collector, capable of handling air volumes of up to 21,000m³/hr, with automatic sludge removal and an explosion relief vent panel. The pre-separator cyclone was ducted to the MIDAC which in turn was ducted to the Absolent filter unit which included a final stage HEPA filter which vented filtered air back to atmosphere.
