A kick start for Mini Kickers

Industrial air filtration specialist Filtermist regularly sponsors a range of individuals, charities and organisations which are connected to its employees, so it was delighted to be able to provide its latest funding to football group Highley Mini Kickers.

The request for sponsorship came in from Manufacturing Support Engineer, Marc Saunders, who has been an employee of Filtermist for the past seven years and whose son attends the Mini Kickers class each week.

With the money donated by Filtermist, Mini Kickers’ coach, Dean Boden, was able to purchase two brand new Forza Football nets to replace flimsy pop-up nets used previously.  He was also able to purchase new training balls, a bag and Nike Mini Kickers Football T-shirts for the local class.

Mini Kickers is an introduction to football for four to six-year-olds and is run by Dean Boden every Sunday.

Lydia Barber, Filtermist’s Director of Group Marketing said “We always like to support local groups and even more so when they are connected to our employees.  We hope many children in the Mini Kickers team will benefit from this new equipment and kit.”
