Updated Filtermist statement regarding COVID-19

31st March 2020: Further to our statement of 24th March, please find below updated statement regarding Filtermist’s response to COVID-19.

Furloughing

Filtermist has taken the decision to furlough a number of employees in order to protect its business during this turbulent time. This includes colleagues from all departments, but ensures enough employees remain in position to enable the business to continue to operate as best it can.

Filtermist works with customers in a range of critical industries including medical device manufacture, parts manufacturing, food production and pharmaceuticals throughout the UK. These industries are currently under enormous pressure; the products and services Filtermist provides are vital to the smooth running of production facilities and therefore the company will do everything within its power to ensure it is able to support as many customers as possible during this challenging time.

All furloughed employees will activate an out of office alert on their email address which will include details of who to contact in their absence. The period of furloughing will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and will depend on the needs of the business as this situation develops.

If you would like any additional information please contact Johanna Morris, Filtermist’s Director of Group Shared Services: jo.morris@filtermist.com +44 (0)7712 326064.

As is obvious from the Government, there is an unknown element to this whole episode and the situation is changing on a daily basis. We will update this document as appropriate.

Thank you to all of our customers and suppliers for your continued support.
