Installations, Servicing and Maintenance

Service and Installation Engineers are continuing to operate as normal, unless specifically requested not to by customers.

If you have an urgent requirement regarding oil mist extraction please contact Amanda Whelan on +44 (0)7779 555712.

If your requirement is dust related, please contact Andrea Bennett on +44 (0)7976 580095.

Kerstar vacuum cleaners

As of 17th March 2020, the team in Northampton have not been servicing any industrial vacuum cleaners in an effort to protect the maintenance operatives. New machines will be delivered to customers in environments considered to be ‘high risk’ using a ‘hands-off’ approach.

Manufacturing and Dispatch Operations

Filtermist is following Government advice very closely. Manufacturing and dispatch operations are continuing with heightened precautions on social distancing, hygiene and general health and safety. This is being reviewed daily.

Quotes

Filtermist’s proposals team is fully operational and able to provide quotes as they normally would. If you would like to discuss your requirements, or have any questions, please contact Janak Thakore on 07866 888650.

Supply Chain

Filtermist’s Purchasing Department has been monitoring suppliers ever since the Coronavirus outbreak first began in China. The team has identified certain components for which supply may be interrupted and are actively seeking alternative suppliers. However, as we are sure you will understand, the supply of some critical parts for some of our products is reliant on specific companies and therefore if they experience operational issues as a result of Coronavirus this may impact our production. We will keep all customers likely to experience delivery delays as a result of supply chain issues informed. Rest assured; we will do everything in our power to keep delays to an absolute minimum.

Visitors to Filtermist’s Sites

Filtermist respectively requests that anyone who has returned from a high-risk area, been in contact with someone with Coronavirus, or showing symptoms that they might have the virus, to postpone scheduled visits to all Filtermist sites.

International Travel

All international travel has been postponed and employees have been sent links to website pages containing the latest travel advice from the UK Government.

As is obvious from the Government, there is an unknown element to this whole episode and the situation is changing on a daily basis. We will update this document as appropriate.

Thank you to all of our customers and suppliers for your continued support.
