Filtermist is delighted to announce that it will be launching its Direct Filtration operating division on Stand 4030 at this year’s MACH show; taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from 7th-11th April.
Filtermist has offered a number of complementary products alongside its core range of oil mist extraction and collection equipment for a number of years – the launch of the dedicated Direct Filtration brand will focus specifically on selling its extensive range of filters and filter rolls to UK customers.
Backed up by Filtermist’s extensive industry knowledge, Direct Filtration will offer a range of filter rolls & media for gravity, vacuum, pressure and hydrostatic systems which are used in a range of industrial applications including grinding, honing, lapping and cutting, industrial washing and waste water, phosphating and galvanising fluids and hot and cold metal rolling.

Filtermist will also be showcasing the introduction of IE3 motors to its FX range of centrifugal filtration and extraction equipment at MACH 2014.
As a forward thinking company Filtermist has introduced the energy efficient motors to demonstrate its commitment to both best practice and environmental responsibility.

IE3 motors will be fitted to all Filtermist FX units from 1st April 2014.
Products and services from Swedish parent company, Absolent AB, will also be on show on Filtermist’s stand at MACH 2014. Filtermist UK is the sole distributor for Absolent in the UK and will be showcasing the latest addition to its range of dust, fume and oil smoke extraction equipment - the compact A•smoke5 oil smoke filter.
The A•smoke5 is a machine-mountable filter unit specifically designed for removing high quantities of submicron oil smoke produced by advanced manufacturing processes common in the medical industry and other micro-machining sectors. It has a highly efficient EC-fan and integrated airflow control which ensures that the filter unit consumes a relatively small amount of energy and compensates for changes in the system. This allows the filter unit to maintain the correct airflow level throughout the production cycle for the lifetime of the filter – reducing cost as well as energy usage.
