Filtermist has proudly sponsored the NC United U8s football team by providing funds towards essential winter coats for the young players.

Head Coach Mark Barr, Business Controller at Filtermist, said, “The team is completely new this season and although we are provided with an essential starter kit, all other equipment and kit is funded by sponsors or ourselves.

“As we move into winter, we are going to be training on an outdoor 3G pitch so we approached Filtermist for potential support with the cost of providing adequate cold weather clothing for the team.”

Filtermist has a dedicated budget which is used to support charities, organisations and individuals connected to the company. Jo Morris, Commercial Director at Filtermist, commented, "Helping our colleagues and the wider community is something we feel passionate about at Filtermist. We're delighted to help the NC United U8’s stay warm and focused on their games this season."

In addition to Filtermist's sponsorship, the team and their supporters recently completed a sponsored walk up the Wrekin to raise further funds. This initiative will help the team purchase much-needed training and match day equipment, ensuring they have everything they need for a successful season.
