Utopia Bathroom Group, the UK's leader in fitted bathroom furniture, has slashed its electricity bills by investing in Ecogate's energy-saving dust extraction technology at its manufacturing centre in Bilston, West Midlands. Utopia commissioned authorised installer Dust Control Systems Ltd (DCS) to carry out the work.

• The new system replaced two large-capacity drag chain filters and a total of eleven main fans ranging from 11kW to 75kW that previously ran all day, 7 days a week.
• Our team installed an Ecogate® 'extraction-on-demand' system, delivering annual savings of around 450,000 kilowatt hours (kWh)
• It features eleven Ecogate Power MASTER® variable speed drive units, each with an integral Ecogate greenBOX® 12+ controller, and a total of twenty six motorised Ecogate damper gates, which automatically open and close as machines come on or off line
• Utopia enjoyed further financial savings thanks to the Carbon Trust assessed-installation qualifying for Green Equipment Finance through Siemens (SFS Ltd).
