Successful 2018 ISO 9001 audit

Filtermist is pleased to report that its recent ISO 9001 audit was passed successfully with zero majors or minors.

The company first achieved ISO 9001 accreditation for its quality system in 1994, followed by the environmental standard ISO 14001 in 2003. Both certifications are evidence of Filtermist’s long-standing and ongoing commitment to quality across all aspects of its operations.

A dedicated Group Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Manager, David Barrow, was appointed last month to ensure all companies within the ‘Filtermist Group’ adhere to the highest standards.

David has worked in the field of Quality for more than 20 years so brings a wealth of experience to Filtermist, as well as subsidiary companies Multi-Fan Systems and Dustcheck Ltd which also hold ISO 9001 accreditation.

Filtermist and Dustcheck are both accredited by SafeContractor for the high standards of health and safety they adhere to, and all firms undertake regular employee training to ensure they offer the safest service possible.

“Filtermist’s purpose is ‘protecting people in cleaner, safer, more productive workshops,” elaborates Group CEO James Stansfield. “This applies to our own people as well as customers. Appointing David to oversee this part of the business demonstrates our commitment to safely delivering the best quality products and services possible.”
