Future Strictly stars don their dancing shoes supported by Filtermist

Filtermist is proud to support a number of causes and organisations which have direct links to the company, so when Installation Engineer Roman Nadhovskis approached us with a funding request from his daughter’s ballroom dancing troupe we were delighted to be able to assist.

Roman's nine-year-old daughter Samanta first became interested in ballroom dancing at the age of five when her mother took her along to local group, ZigZag Dance. She is now part of the Juvenile Formation Team and has performed in a number of competitions including the recent Junior Blackpool Dance Festival which took place at the world-famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

As any Strictly fan will know, costs for this popular pass-time can quickly spiral, as Formation Dance Academy’s Fund-raising Co-ordinator Sharon Lewis explains, “There are 14 children under the age of 12 in our Juvenile team and every child needs a team tracksuit, practice wear and shoes in addition to the outfits worn when the team performs.

“This can be very expensive for parents so we try to secure as much corporate sponsorship as possible to ensure all of the children can continue to pursue their love of dance. We are extremely grateful to Filtermist for its support.”
