Filtermist celebrates growth in Asia at MTA Singapore

Filtermist will be showcasing the benefits of its oil mist collection units on Stand 3G4-01 (UK-EIA) at MTA 2015 in Singapore next month, to support the company’s phenomenal continued growth across Asia.

The UK team will be supporting subsidiary company Filtermist Asia Pte with its stand at the 20th edition of the popular show, taking place from 14th-17th April, to demonstrate how effective its extraction units are at cleaning the air in industrial workplaces.

Sales of Filtermist units in Asia have grown by almost 40% since 2012
. Filtermist has significantly increased its presence in Asia in recent years to meet this demand for its products, and now has dedicated distributors across the entire region to offer local advice and technical support to customers looking for effective oil mist extraction.

Exporting products to Asia has been a critical factor in Filtermist’s global growth – the company began selling to countries including Japan and Taiwan at a very early stage, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the rapidly increasing machine tool manufacturing sector in that area.

Expansion in the region led to a restructure of Filtermist’s ASEAN business in 2013 and since then a number of distributors have been appointed to support sales in markets including Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

Distributors are chosen for their ability to provide exemplary service and support, matching Filtermist’s ethos of offering unrivalled aftersales support and technical back up. Filtermist units are sold in more than 60 countries worldwide – a key factor in the company’s continued export success is the local support offered to customers around the World.
