Filtermist joins leading Machine Tool Manufacturers at Advances in Machining

Filtermist is proud to have been invited to exhibit at the Advances in Machining event, taking place at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) in Sheffield on 24th June as part of the Global Manufacturing Festival.

A two day spin-off from the UK’s International Festival for Business 2014, the event is set to attract over 1000 SME companies and will include presentations from a number of household names including Siemens, Rolls-Royce and Boeing – providing Filtermist with an excellent opportunity to network with key senior decision makers within the manufacturing and engineering sectors.

As one of just 13 exhibitors at Advances in Machining, Filtermist will be joining a number of World leading Machine Tool Manufacturers, including Starrag, DMG Mori, Hermle and Mazak, to demonstrate how its extraction units effectively remove oil mist from industrial workplaces.

Filtermists’ Managing Director, James Stansfield
, comments, “We were delighted to have been invited to exhibit at this prestigious event alongside some of the biggest names in Machine Tools.

“Filtermist already has established relationships with a number of leading manufacturers and events such as this provide excellent opportunities to further extend our networks.”

Organised by the AMRC and MTA, the Advances in Machining event aims to connect UK SMEs with Global Manufacturers under one roof, providing an ideal opportunity for business partnerships and company growth.

James
continues, “As well as being fitted as part of the initial specification by a wide range of machine tool manufacturers, Filtermist units can also be installed retrospectively and are used in a variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, medical technologies and food production.

“Following an extremely successful MACH 2014, next week’s event and the MTA dinner which our Sales Manager Stuart Plimmer is attending, will provide further opportunities to demonstrate how Filtermist can keep workplace air clean and protect workers from hazardous airborne particles – ensuring compliance with COSHH regulations.”
