Following Managing Director, Mike Stansfield’s retirement at the end of June, James Stansfield has been appointed MD at Filtermist.

James began his career at Filtermist 14 years ago, starting as Sales Co-Ordinator in 1998 and working his way up through the organisation to become the Sales and Marketing Manager in 2010. James has extensive knowledge of all aspects of Filtermist and has played an integral role in the continued expansion of the company – specifically in its international export strategy.

James Stansfield, says, “My father, Mike, spent 22 years guiding Filtermist’s growth from small beginnings to the international operation it is today. I am extremely proud to be able to take the helm at Filtermist to ensure its expansion continues. We are developing a number of products and services to ensure our UK clients comply with COSHH legislation as well as working on oil mist extractors specifically designed for the export market.”

Export trade is a significant growth area for Filtermist – the company is now represented in more than 50 countries worldwide and aims to further increase its penetration of export markets to drive continued growth.

James Stansfield continues, “Filtermist has ambitious plans for the future and I’m looking forward to driving further growth to ensure the Filtermist brand is at the forefront of the global oil mist extraction industry.”
