  • Filtermist UK is looking to appoint a Receptionist to join its rapidly expanding team.

    Responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting guests, answering phones, handling company inquiries, and sorting and distributing mail. May also be required to schedule meetings and travel for executives. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

    Key roles

    • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
    • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
    • Direct visitors to the appropriate person or meeting room.
    • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk-(monitor Sinica logs and visitor badges).
    • Handle and redirect customer queries.
    • Take and distribute messages.
    • Organize incoming and outgoing mail.
    • Coordinate meetings and appointments.
    • Assist with organization of company functions and events.
    • Arranging for catering for meetings and daily office use.
    • Setting up meeting facilities
    • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).
    • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
    • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and small parcel collection and deliveries.
    • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing as required.

    Key Skills & Experience

    • Good level of education (to GCSE standard in Maths and English grade C or above)
    • 3+ Years of a customer service role
    • Experience working within manufacturing, engineering or distribution industries
    • Highly motivated with a positive attitude
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
    • High organisational skills, ability to plan and manage own time
