Kelly's fundraising set to fly for Jo’s Cervial Cancer Trust

Filtermist Account Manager Kelly Foster is undertaking a 15,000ft skydive to raise money for Jo’s Cervial Cancer Trust as part of Filtermist’s year of fundraising events for the charity.

On Saturday 25th June Kelly will undertake the huge jump at North London Skydiving Centre. She will be free falling for approximately 60 seconds at 125mph, then at 5000ft the parachute will be deployed as she descends to the ground!

Filtermist proudly supports a range of individuals, charities and organisations each year who are connected to its employees. This fundraising activity has been spearheaded by Aftermarket Team Leader Jane Boon who lost her 26-year-old daughter Laura to cervical cancer in September 2020, leaving behind her six-year-old son Memphis.

We spoke to Kelly to find out what has motivated her to take on such a huge challenge:

“I must be mad, but it’s for a really good cause and Jane is going to bring Memphis along to watch which will be just lovely. I’m proud to be able to support Jane in her efforts to raise big money for this worthwhile charity.”

Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust is the UK’s leading cervical cancer charity. Their vision is a future where cervical cancer is a thing of the past. Until then, they want to see cervical cancer prevented and reduce the impact of a cervical cell changes (abnormal cells) or cervical cancer diagnosis.
