Telford based oil mist filters manufacturer, Filtermist International Limited, will be launching its brand new free five-year warranty at the EMO show in Milan from 4th – 9th October.
The new warranty is testimony to the confidence Filtermist has in the quality of its products, as CEO James Stansfield, explains, “We have manufactured our compact, centrifugal oil mist filters for more than 50 years now and in that time we have pretty much perfected our manufacturing processes.
“If our units are properly serviced and maintained there is no reason why they cannot last for a substantial number of years – we have operational Filtermists in the field which are more than 30 years old! This is a really important factor in why we are so successful globally - especially given the current conversations around sustainability and the environment.
“The design of Filtermist oil mist filters has been developed and improved since 1969 to become the globally recognised product that it is today, under the guidance of our skilled and experienced team,” continues James. “We are fortunate to have a dedicated workforce, many of whom have worked at Filtermist for more than 20 years – so if anyone knows how to produce oil mist collectors that work it is them!
“We are putting our money where our mouth is by offering a free five-year warranty to all of our customers as we know our units are designed to keep working for the long haul.”
The environment is another topic Filtermist will be focussing on at EMO – the company is currently working on a more environmentally friendly HEPA rated Afterfilter and will be introducing a prototype to show visitors and gauge their reaction. The new filter contains considerably less plastic than the current Afterfilter and its design means that only part of the filter needs to be disposed of, rather than the whole item.
“We are constantly looking at how our products and services can be improved and adapted to meet our customers’ changing requirements,” comments James. “Our parent company Absolent Air Care Group has ambitious carbon reduction targets and we are mindful that many companies are on a similar journey. All changes, no matter how minor, can make a difference over the long-term.”
Filtermist will also be showcasing its Bluetooth enabled F Monitor 2 monitoring system and FX Fusion – a dedicated solution for neat oil applications.
The company will be exhibiting on the Absolent Air Care Group stand (Hall 5 C24, D09) alongside sister company Absolent AB which will be launching its latest innovation – the A.Smart range. A.Smart includes a suite of products designed to constantly monitor the performance of Absolent’s premium oil mist, oil smoke, dust and fume filters and provide users with real-time data about the filter’s performance and any maintenance requirements.
Other products on show at EMO include Absolent’s A.10 oil smoke filter and a KSV 45/2W swarf and coolant vacuum from Kerstar – another Absolent Air Care Group brand. Kerstar’s portable industrial vacuum cleaners are manufactured in the UK by Filtermist’s skilled team and offer robust solutions for a wide range of industrial cleaning requirements.
