Filtermist showcases industrial extraction units at pioneering ETG Permanent Trade Show

Working in partnership with Engineering Technology Group (ETG), oil mist extraction specialist Filtermist is pleased to announce that it will be showcasing its industry leading oil mist collectors, alongside a range of industrial extraction units from sister company Absolent, at the launch of ETG’s pioneering Permanent Trade Show taking place between 10th-12th June at its Warwickshire based showroom and available for visitors permanently thereafter.

Investing in high technology machine tools is a huge financial commitment for any industrial business, the same is true of important accessories that ensure the efficient running of both the machine tool and the workshop facility. It is therefore important for customers to have the opportunity to consider the most effective solution that will best meet their requirements.

Filtermist values the strong and trusted partnerships that it has established over many years with leading Machine Tool Manufacturers; Stuart Plimmer, Director of Sales, comments, “We are delighted to have the opportunity to showcase our range of products at this pioneering event to promote the benefits of industrial extraction whilst supporting ETG in its exciting new venture.”

One of the most important machine tool accessories that any manufacturing facility must have is quality and efficient extraction to ensure employees are protected from exposure to harmful airborne particulates created by machining processes, such as oil mist, oil smoke and fumes. It is also vital to keep the workshop equipment and environment clean and safe to avoid accidents and costly maintenance problems.

Filtermist and Absolent will be among ETG’s other valued partners at the event which will provide a new and engaging way to exhibit the world’s leading names in metal cutting technology and machining accessories. Filtermist's experienced sales representative will be available throughout the launch event to answer any queries about extraction in the workplace using the Filtermist and Absolent range to make choosing an extraction solution simple. For those unable to attend, the showroom will be permanently available for anyone to visit after the three day event - either individually or with their customers.

Filtermist’s oil mist collectors, including the FX and S Series ranges, will be installed onto various machine tools during the trade show, including well-known names such as Chiron and Bridgeport. As part of ETG’s four-monthly rotation cycle of machine tools throughout the year, visitors will have the opportunity to view different extraction units from the Filtermist range on various machine tools matched specifically to the machining type and application.

There will also be live demonstrations on working units showing visitors how versatile the units are and how efficiently they work to ensure the facility benefits from continuously clean air.

During the machine tool rotation, visitors will also be able to view the Absolent A•mist extraction unit. The A•mist and other products in the Absolent range, including the A•smoke and A•dust, use filter media to guarantee a high separating efficiency for large machines, centralised systems and heavy applications.

ETG’s Permanent Trade Show is part of the company’s long term investment in its infrastructure and partner relationships to provide customers with an innovative way to demonstrate a range of machining tools and accessories from entry-level to full turn-key.
